From acid pickling, rinsing, fluxing, and coating, all stages of the process are dependent upon the acid recovery system maintaining excellent quality acid with very low iron entrainment. Low iron levels in the pickling tanks enhance the tank heating system, speed product throughput and help to minimize product defect. Low entrained iron in the pickling acid means very little carry-over iron through the rinse, the flux tank, and the kettle.
